Materials
- One square sheet of origami paper per person

How to play
- Fold the square diagonally in both directions and unfold. Use the intersecting creases to locate the center, then fold all four corners to it.
- Turn the paper over and fold all four corners to the center again. Align any uneven corners before inserting fingers.
- Fold in half vertically, horizontally, and along both diagonals, reopening each time to crease. Push the center upward from underneath and open the four outside pockets. Insert both thumbs and index fingers.
- Bring the four fingers together, then open the toy alternately in the two directions. An adult can gently open the pockets and form the initial shape for anyone who finds holding it difficult.
- Draw colors or animals on the visible surfaces. Open and close the toy the number of times a partner requests, then describe the revealed picture. Swap makers and operators to finish.
