• Several kinds of color or animal picture cards

How to play

1. Give each player a color or animal picture card. Ensure at least two cards of each type.
2. Walk on the signal to find matching cards. Show cards or speak to check, such as “I have red.”
3. Matching groups gather at an agreed place and lay out cards to check.
4. Once everyone has a group, introduce each group with a wave. Collect, redistribute and repeat 2–3 times.

Ways to adapt

Preschool children: show matching pictures. Younger primary school children: favorite animals may be used. Older primary school children: find groups by showing cards without speech.
