How to play

  1. Split the group into two facing queues 3–5 m apart. Leave a side lane for throwers to move back into line.
  2. The first player throws to the first opposite player below chest height. Preschool and early-primary players may use two-handed underarm throws.
  3. After throwing, move to the back of your own queue. The receiver throws to the next opposite player, then also moves to the back.
  4. On a drop, pause; the intended receiver retrieves the ball and restarts. Count successful passes together.
  5. Stop after 1 minute. Rest briefly, change the order and try to improve the previous total.

Ways to adapt

Younger primary school children: close range with both hands. Older primary school children: slightly longer distance.
