Materials
- A soft ball
- Three scoring cones
- Markers for home and the kicking area
How to play
- Split into kicking and fielding teams. Set three scoring cones in a line to the side of the kicking position. Keep the running route separate from the kicked-ball area.
- One attacker kicks a stationary ball and runs past the cones in order. A hard, high kick is unnecessary.
- A fielder retrieves the ball. All fielders line up behind that person, then call “Stop!”
- The runner earns 1–3 points for cones already passed. Never throw at runners or cross their route to block them.
- Swap roles after everyone attacks once. Give equal turns and compare total scores.
Ways to adapt
Younger primary school children: closer cones. Older primary school children: allow the fielding team to discuss tactics.
