Materials
- Two circles large enough for everyone to fit comfortably
How to play
- Draw two large houses as circles about 5 m apart. Choose one tagger; runners gather in one house.
- When the tagger calls “Move house!”, runners move to the other house. The tagger chases only between the houses.
- Players are safe inside a house and cannot be tagged there. Enter through clear spaces without pushing.
- A runner tagged while moving swaps with the tagger. Once everyone is inside, stop and check who the new tagger is.
- Turn around and repeat the journey. End after about 5 round trips, giving players who have not been tagger a turn.
Ways to adapt
Preschool children: an adult is tagger. Older primary school children: move the houses slightly farther apart.
